India's medical education capacity continues to expand. In 2025-26, 43 new medical colleges were established, taking the total number of medical colleges in the country to 818. India's iron and steel industry is entering a new phase of growth. Steel production capacity has risen to 220 MT in FY26, up from 200.33 MT in FY25, reflecting the sector's steady expansion and its ability to keep pace with the country's growing needs. Steel remains central to infrastructure and manufacturing.
